Was super chuffed when I created a basic avatar - ICT genius! Until ... can't figure out how to put the darn thing on my blog! :) Suggestions anyone? I'm super eager to learn!
Try going to your dashboard, then to layout, then page elements. Where you have 'about me' add a gadget - HTML/JavaScript. Give it a title - like I did "Annie" and then post your Avatar information in the content section.
This is what worked for me. Hope it works for you.
If you are using Voki avatars find the avatar that you wish to embed. Under the avatar there are 2 steps. 1 select the place you're going to embed it (blogger) 2 select the size of the avatar you want. Usually small will suffice, but it depends where on your blog you are embedding it.
if you wish to embed the avatar into a blog post: Copy the link they give you and go into a new posting in your blog. There should be a tab saying edit HTML - click this and paste in your code. You will see a whole heap of code. Type whatever you want before or after the code and you're done!
if you wish to embed the avatar into the side bar near your followers, blog archive and about me sections Annie has provided great instructions above.
